4 Easy Steps to Ensure Your CSCS Card is Valid
Coronavirus had impacted the CSCS’s ability to issue new cards and renew cards before they had expired; this was mainly due to applicants not being unable to sit the CITB Health, Safety and Environmental test due to the pandemic and the temporary closure of the CSCS’s test centres. Because of this setback, the CSCS offered a grace period for card renewals whilst they resolved the backlog of test requests.
Thankfully, things are back to normal, the CSCS has now resolved any issues with applicants being able to sit their tests, and test centres are now back to running at total capacity. Nevertheless, while construction workers should no longer face delays in obtaining cards, many workers aren’t aware that the extended renewal period has now been removed and that they now must ensure their CSCS card is up to date.
Sometimes, updating your card, resitting tests, and making sure you are fully compliant can be daunting. But, if you follow these 4 easy steps to ensure your CSCS card is valid, you’ll find you can do it all online in no time at all.
